Terms of Use

Last updated: TBD at submission

These terms cover your use of Plum, an iOS app made by Craftish. Using the app means you accept them. Plum is also covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these terms and Apple’s differ on the licence itself, Apple’s apply.

Your content is yours

Everything you create in Plum belongs to you. It is stored in your own iCloud account, not on any server belonging to Craftish, and I have no access to it. Nothing in these terms gives me any licence over it.

Plum Free and Plum Pro

Plum is free to use, including unlimited lists, all import options, sorting, item details, and iCloud sync across your own devices. The free tier is limited to three kits after an introductory period. Kits you have already created remain usable.

Plum Pro is an optional subscription that adds unlimited kits, sharing lists and kits with other people, alternate app icons, and the ability to lock the app to light or dark rather than following your device.

Subscription terms

If your subscription ends, the app keeps working. Kits above the free limit stay readable and usable, and shared lists stop being editable by you as an owner-shared feature, but nothing you made is deleted.

Acceptable use

Do not use Plum to break the law, and do not attempt to interfere with the app or with other people’s shared content. When you share a list, you are responsible for who you share it with.

Plum is a checklist, not a safety system. It is offered as-is, without warranty of any kind. Do not rely on it as the sole record for anything where forgetting an item could be dangerous, expensive or irreversible — medication, medical devices, legal documents, travel documents, or safety equipment. Check those yourself.

Availability and changes

I may update, change or discontinue features. If a change would remove something significant you paid for, I will say so in the app’s What’s New before it happens where I reasonably can.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Craftish is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Plum, including anything forgotten, mis-sorted or not purchased. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer you keep every right your local consumer law gives you.

Governing law

Craftish is based in Aotearoa NZ and these terms are governed by New Zealand law. If you are a consumer this does not take away the protections of the consumer law where you live, and nothing here limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply.
